Finally. As an angling addict, the last three months have been tough. All plans had been on hold as I worked through rehab following a hip replacement surgery (in my 30s!). In fact, the months leading up to surgery were pretty limited due pain and limited mobility. But alas, the green light is back on, and I’m excited to accelerate back to business.

Early July is when I got the okay, and now it’s time to make up for lost time. After a session in the surf last night, I’m now looking ahead to fly fishing the Florida salt next week before embarking on a Rockies road trip for a couple of weeks through Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Utah before getting ready for California steelhead shortly after returning. Good to be back home … on the water.
