The Native Fish Society is urging anglers to take action to potentially help make the North Fork of the Smith River protected with a Wild and Scenic River designation. As we all know, western rivers are frequently challenged by a range of threats, from agriculture to mining. This designation would ensure a range of wild species, from cutthroat trout to salmon and steelhead would get the help they need.
