There will be a screening of DamNation tomorrow night at Stanford University! This is exciting news, as Stanford owns the Searsville Dam – a local deadbeat dam that Stanford is presently considering removing. With pressure coming from both sides and an ecosystem and run of steelhead on the line, support from the Stanford community for the removal of Searsville could be critical to bringing down the dam.
